Transaction Analyst - Real Estate (CEE & EMEA) (m/w/d)

Your mission
As a Transaction Analyst at Manova, based in Prague, you will play an essential role in our real estate investment operations across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), with the largest focus on the Czech Republic and Poland. You will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and executing real estate transactions across these key markets, with the potential to expand your involvement in other parts of the EMEA region. Your financial acumen, market insights, and attention to detail will be instrumental in driving the success of our regional and international investment strategies.
Your profile
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Transaction Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, market research, and due diligence to assess potential real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and investment opportunities within CEE. Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Market Research & Valuation: Stay on top of local and regional real estate trends, economic conditions, and regulatory environments across CEE markets. 
  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast property performance, assess investment returns, and evaluate the financial feasibility of real estate transactions within the CEE region, with potential for broader EMEA involvement. 
  • Due Diligence: Lead and support the due diligence process, working closely with internal teams and external partners (brokers, legal counsel, lenders, etc.) to ensure all necessary documents, reports, and analyses are completed with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Transaction Support: Assist in preparing  (initially mainly) internal transaction documents like investment committee memos, client presentations, checklists, etc. 
  • Transaction Coordination: Manage the coordination and execution of various transaction-related activities, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met. Collect and process necessary information for transaction approval and final execution.
Your key qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) or relevant certifications (CFA, CAIA, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in real estate investment, finance, or a related field, with a strong track record in transaction analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
    • Knowledge of Argus an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
    • Strong understanding of real estate valuation techniques and investment metrics.
    • In-depth knowledge of the CEE real estate markets, as well as familiarity with investment strategies and financing structures across the region.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to senior management and external stakeholders (in English as well).
    • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
    • A proactive, results-driven approach to tasks.
